“It seems like much data has been lost," Jasmine looked at the surrounding machines. "or they canceled it before they left."

Boom!!! The door of the room exploded, sending wooden splinters and metal shards flying like shrapnel. A cloud of dust and smoke filled the air, obscuring the vision of anyone who stood too close. Groups of armored soldiers were running into the room.

An old man walked into the room when the soldiers had controlled Jasmine with their guns.

“Matthew” Jasmine sterned at him.

However, Matthew did not respond to her.

“Take the stuff and bring the criminal to the parliament,” Matthew pointed to the robot. “and that robot.”

As the soldiers went out with the corpse, something cold and wet and very much alive landed on the ground from the giant corpse. It wasn't some liquid, because they stick combined in a great, dark worm, revealing dozens of shining needle teeth.
