（A） As far as I am concerned ,respecting the old is the traditional Chinese virtue .

Firstly ,the elderly deserve the respect due to their difficulty in bringing up their children and their contribution to society .We should always bear in mind that what we have and enjoy now was created by the aged people in the early days .Secondly ,home is one of the best places for learning values ,so we should set an example at home by taking good care of the elderly members ,so that children learn to adopt this practice .

In our life ,some people do not behave well at all .For example ,some people spit as well as litter wherever they like ;some jump the queue when waiting to get their meals in the dining hall or to buy things at the supermarket ；some even quarrel in public or fight against each other .All the behavior above doesn’t contribute to building a friendly and harmonious society .

As citizens in this civilized society ,we should form good habits and develop a sense of responsibility .

Wet must know that every effort ,however small ,will make a difference .So let’s take action from now on.
