加文对梁皖妮说：“I told Mrs Crilly about you. Next, you two talk. Mrs Crilly, Miss Leung's career plan is up to you.”

“No problem.”阿曼达和蔼地说。

加文走后，阿曼达和梁皖妮在一张圆桌边坐下。

阿曼达翻开梁皖妮的资料册，里面贴满了梁皖妮在学校时的话剧剧照。

梁皖妮很惊讶：“Where did you get these photos?”

“Ms White gave them to me.”

阿曼达让梁皖妮凑近看。梁皖妮看到，照片旁写着密密麻麻的小字。

梁皖妮拿过资料册，研究着那些小字。

“……show deep feelings with silence……”“……elegant manners……”“The rhythm is a little slow.”“……need more life experience……”

每一幅剧照的旁边，阿曼达都认真地写上了评语，有称赞有建议。

“You know what? Besides being an agent, I am also an art critic.”阿曼达告诉梁皖妮。

梁皖妮很惊喜：“Really? I feel so lucky.”

阿曼达问：“Do you have any plans for your future?”

梁皖妮思考了一会，把肯为她量身打造的剧本和遇到的简的阻挠对她说了。

阿曼达起身在房间里踱着步子，左手支着右手，右手撑着额头，微微低头作沉思状。

梁皖妮感到越来越紧张。她既期待又害怕阿曼达给出的提议。

过了一会，阿曼达问：“You have to find out which play heroine Jane Stephens wants.”

梁皖妮毫不犹豫地回答：“Swan Lake. ”

阿曼达又问：“Do you want to compete with her for the heroine of Swan Lake?”

梁皖妮迟疑了一下，然后摇了摇头，说：“I just don't think she's suitable for playing the white swan. However, I admit that she is a wonderful candidate to play the black swan.”

阿曼达再问道：“So why are you worried about Ken Brown's tailor-made play for you?”

梁皖妮里愣了一下，随即说：“Because I'm worried.”

阿曼达又坐在了她身边，说：“You might as well say, what are you worried about? Why are you worried?”
